What the Law Requires
What Is an ACP-21 & Why Do You Need One?
NYC Local Law 1 requires landlords of pre-1960 buildings — and some pre-1978 buildings — to proactively identify and correct lead-based paint hazards if a child under 6 lives there. HPD may issue violations, which require certified testing and clearance by a licensed firm.
We also ensure EPA RRP compliance for contractors and daycares operating in older buildings.
