What is Lead?
Lead paint was the standard prior to 1978. Even though it is now outlawed, lead is still present in many homes and commercial spaces, unbeknownst to the occupier. The only way to know if you are positive for lead, is to have an inspector or lead assessor investigate your dwelling. If you are buying a home, especially if you have children, a simple lead inspection can put your mind at ease.
We use state of the art XRF technology to determine if the property has lead. Walls, hinges, frames, window pains are tested with the XRF machine to determine the presence of lead. After the inspection, you will be provided with a report including every area tested and the results. A plan of action will be recommended if you are found positive for lead.
